Ⅰ. General Description

The major of Archival Science is the key construction major of Jiangsu province, which is dedicated to cultivating students' professional practical ability. It is the "Archival Personnel Training Center of Jiangsu Province " designated by the Jiangsu Archives.The major of Archives has the master's degree of " Library and Information Science".

Ⅱ. Objectives

This major is to cultivate practical talents with systematic basic theory knowledge of archival science, who grasp knowledge of modern management, advanced information technology and professional skills of archives management, to be engaged in archival management, file management, information management, integrated office work in all kinds of departments of archives, information or secretary in archival administration, Party and Government offices, enterprises and institutions.
