Ⅰ. General Description

The major of Social Work has the right to grant master's degree (MSW). The social work strengthens the combination the major with the society to strengthen student's practical ability. It is is “Social Work Talented Personnel Training Base” designated by Department of Civil Affairs Jiangsu Province, “Yangzhou Youth Affairs Social Worker Training Center”.

Ⅱ. Objectives

This major is to cultivate applied talents with professional values of"people-oriented, help others and self support, fairness and justice" ,who have a solid theoretical foundation and knowledge and ability of Social Work, to engage in social service and social welfare management in Party and Government offices, enterprises and institutions and social organizations.
