Huang Zhipeng is a doctor of Philosophy. Now he is a lecturer of the department of Social Development of YZU. Dr Huang mainly studies Western philosophy、the dissemination of Western learning to the East、Medieval philosophy. In Jun. 2018, he obtained his PhD in Philosophy from Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, presenting a thesis on The Translation of the Aristotelian Theory of the Soul and itsIinfluence in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. Since 2017, he is the collaborator of IEF (Instituto de Estudos Filosóficos Unidade de Investigação & Desenvolvimento, Universidade de Coimbra), Coimbra, Portugal. During 2014-2015, he was a visiting scholar in Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA., U.S..

He published and translated several articles, and some articles will be published soon, the topics mainly in the field of ancient philosophy (especially Aristotle), the dissemination of Western learning to the East and the cultural dialogue.
