Dr. Liu Fengzhen was born in Town of Wenshang （also called Zhongdu, 中都） of Shandong Provincewhich is always called Qilu（齐鲁）. He received his PhD in Religion from the Philosophy Department at Nanjing University (NJU). Now he is a lecturer of the Department of Social Development and a researcher of Institute of Buddhist Studies, Yangzhou University. He does lots of social service, and is the vice managing director of the Society of Studying sutro and other ancient works, one member of the Counselor Group of Wenfeng Buddhist Temple, a special hired teacher of Jianzhen Buddhist University. His academic interest is Chinese philosophy and Buddhist study.
