Dr.Wang Dawen is a lecturer and a master supervisor in history. He got his Ph.D. in history. His research area includes Qing history, Chinese maritime history and historical philology. He published one academic monographLiterature Compilation and the Concept of Great Unity: Research on the Great Unity of Qing Dynasty, and also published some papers in Qing History Research, Historical Geography. He has presided over a scientific research project of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, participated in Yangzhou General History and a number of national-level provincial and ministerial-level projects such as Beijing philosophy and social science planning project. He was a short-term visiting scholar in Academia Sinica in Taipei.
