Dr. Liu Jianzhen is a professor and a doctoral supervisor in the School of Social Development.He has presided over many science projects such as the key project of the national social science fund, the national Qing history project, the national college project, key project of Jiangsu province social science fund research, Jiangsu context project, etc.

He has published many papers inHistorical Studies, Chinese Culture Research, and Communications of the People's Republic of China, and also he published some books such asYangzhou School of Classical Philology in the Qing Dynasty, New idea about JiaoXun Writing, JiaoXun Academic Theory. The collected works ofJiaoxun Quan Ji won the first prize of excellent achievements of philosophy and social science in Jiangsu province and the special prize of excellent books of ancient books in east China.The collection of jiaoxun's poems and the records of Yangzhou government in Jiaqing periods won the first and second prizes of excellent books of ancient books in China. He also won the first prize of excellent classroom quality teaching of Yangzhou University and the most popular teacher award among students.
