Dr. Li Wencai, male, born in 1969 in Donghai, Jiangsu province, doctor of history, is a professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Social Development, Yangzhou University. His main research area is history of Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties, Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties, and historical philology. He serves many social part-time jobs, such as vice President of China Wu Zetian Research Association, director of China Wei Jin Southern and Northern Dynasties Historical Society, director of Jiangsu Six dynasties Historical Society, director of Datong Pingcheng North Dynasties Research Association.
From 1988 to 1998, he successively studied in Yangzhou Normal University, Shanxi Normal University and Beijing Normal University, obtained his bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree in history. He was promoted to professor in 2003, amd was introduced to work in Yangzhou University in 2004. He has published hundreds of academic papers inJournal of Chinese Historical Studies, Ethnic Studies, Literature and History, Sinology Studies (Taiwan), Historiography Monthly, Qingzhou Historiography (Korea), etc. He alson published eight monographs such asYi Liang Administrative Zones in Southern and Northern Dynasties, Li Xijunand his Political Career, etc. One of his books won the second prize of Hebei province philosophy social science outstanding achievement award. He has successively presided over some scientific research projects such as Hebei social science planning fund, Hebei provincial education department humanities and social science fund, Hebei provincial doctoral research fund, and Jiangsu provincial key university construction fund, and participated in the national key social science planning fund project. In 2016, he presided over one national social science foundation project.
