Dr. Wu Chao is a professor and supervisor for master students of theSchool of Social Development of Yangzhou University. His research includes Chinese historiography, Chinese historical philology. He has directed two National Social Science Fund Projects and one projects of Humanities and Social Sciences Fund of the Ministry of Education and has published more than forty essays on different periodicals. He published four academic monographs and received academic prizes on different levels.
